We have used the Analyzer and can see where some of the hold up is, but that doesn't exactly solve my problem. Co-workers are having the same problem. This issue is similar to the January 2022 version memory leak that caused all of our reports to take a lifetime to load. The only difference is this time it is not as severe.

We have been trying open reports we created in an older version of Power BI RS Desktop now in Power BI RS January 2024. We have noticed that some of these reports are taking longer to load the data and draw the visuals.

Just wanting to know if this is a common issue for others.

1. Did you have your coworkers open the same report? Does the same thing happen

2. Analyze Query Performance: Use Performance Analyzer in Power BI Desktop to identify which visuals or queries are taking longer to load. This tool can help pinpoint specific elements that may be causing slowdowns. For guidance on using Performance Analyzer, visit: Use Performance Analyzer to examine report element performance in Power BI Desktop - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
