Embed power bi report server authentication

I have an on-prem power bi report server and want to embed the dashboard using iframe but I'm facing a problem where the Windows logon popup appears and the user is not in my domain.

how can I pass the authentication through the iframe

Hi Mahmoud_Elaraby ,

For Power BI report URLs, you can add a query string parameter. ?rs:Embed=true
Example: http://myserver/reports/powerbi/Sales?rs:embed=true
Create an iframe in the web page to host the report.

I think, it is not possible with default autentification, user must be autentificated ... You can try setup some SSO if users are from trusted domain (it can be different domain). Second option is use custom autentification.

the SSO is not an applicable solution and the Custom Authentication is breaking the security of PBI as I can't assign user Permission from the portal.

Do you want use security permission of PBI (authorization) without user login (authentificaton)? I think it is not possible. If you want use permission for users, the user must be first authentificated, there is more custom options, default is windows authentification.

No, I want to use authroization with user login but the custom authentication is not retrieving the user so I can't find an option to assign user to the folder or the dashboard.

if you know SSO solution that support .net core and PBI it will be usefull.

Use PingFederate ASP.NET Core SAML SSO:
PingFederate is an Identity Provider Program (IDP) that enables SAML-based SSO for ASP.NET Core applications.
NET Core applications can be integrated with PingFederate to enable SSO functionality
