Hello,

I am testing the solution "Embed a report in a secure website or portal" via iframe.

I have a report which has several pages and therefore I use the "pageName" parameter which displays the desired page but I always see the other pages at the bottom of the report, whereas I want to display only the page declared in the parameter .

How can we limit this display?

As i understand you are using the pageName parameter correctly to open a specific page, but the report still shows all page tabs at the bottom, and you want to restrict the user to only that page. This behaviour is by design for the secure embed.

-The pageName parameter only controls the default landing page,

-It does NOT hide navigation tabs.

-The standard embed URL does not support UI customization.

What You can do-

- You can Hide navigation pane by using this parameter-

&navContentPaneEnabled=false

This may hide the left navigation pane. But in most cases, bottom tabs are still visible in PBIX reports.

Alternatively Use Power BI Embedded (JavaScript API) ,If you need full control (including hiding pages),

This wil give you -

-Ability to hide page navigation completely
-Control which pages are visible
-Lock users to a specific page
-Fully customize UI

pagename= controls landing page only

Cannot hide page tabs using iframe secure embed

For full control -> use Power BI Embedded API

Quick workaround -> split report into single-page versions

Hi,
The pageName parameter only controls which page is opened initially. It does not hide the page navigation tabs or prevent users from switching to other pages.
If you're using the Publish to web or Secure embed (iframe) URL, there isn't a URL parameter that hides all other report pages while displaying only the selected page.
If your requirement is to show only a single page, you have a few options:
Create a separate report that contains only the required page.
Use the Power BI JavaScript Embed API, which provides more control over the embedded experience, including navigation settings.
Hide the other report pages in Power BI Desktop before publishing (note that users with edit permissions can still access hidden pages).
So, using the pageName parameter alone won't restrict navigation, it simply sets the landing page when the report loads.
