Does Report Builder 15 version reports not compatible with older version of SSRS ?

I have a report generated using MS report builder version 15.0.19914.0. When I try to upload the report in my client SSRS folder. It shows an error saying( refer image)

I tried to download the report builder(ReportBuilder_3_0_0_0) from my client's SSRS UI, but could not open and run the application as it is not compatible with my system.

how can I solve this issue?

you could create Virtual Machine on your laptop using VMWare Workstation, Virtual Box, hyper-v or whatever to install a compatible version of Report Builder.

looking to the error interfance it seems quite old SSRS. what is that? 2012?

Yes its 2012. I think VM is the solution.
