Please provide the new matrix visual as custom visual to be importable to PBIRS

The current PBI Desktop Version for PBIRS is very outdated and has no preview features :( i'm REALLY missing the MATRIX Visual which allows do display figures alongside with hierarchical data on row axis. Without that visual there is not really a way to present table-style data :(

So PLEASE could you provide this visual as custom visual so that it can be imported into PBIRS and we don't have to wait x-month until nextt release...would be REALLY helpful and you would at least sell one more PBIRS licence! ;)

When will PBI Desktop Version for PBIRS / Report Server be updated with the latest (July) improvements ?

(We really need this new matrix visual on the report server before we can publish this to our users)

The support/release timeline is posted here, the plan is to release an updated PBI Report Server every four months. Each new release will snap to the latest Power BI.com features at that time; however, preview features may or may not make it in. Since Matrix just GAed in the July release of PBI.com/Desktop it's possible/likely it will make it in the next release of PBIRS. Unfortunately doing it as a custom visual is not likely to happen, since internally these will be two different visual types plus support for the core visual will eventually make it into PBIRS.
