Report server couldn't connect to the data source

Hi,

I am unable to connect to a SQL data source in report server using an account that previously worked.

I can connect to the SQL server in power BI desktop using the account, same credentials.

I can connect to the datasource in report server using other accounts that have the same permissions on the database.

The error I receive is:

The report server couldn't connect to the data source using the information you entered.

Make sure you've entered the connection string and any credentials correctly.

Credentials and connection string are correct.

Has anyone encountered this before?

I need to use this account to authenticate all data sources as it is a service account that does not have a password reset policy assigned.
