    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Community,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I need below requirement.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;How to preserve default excel formatting boarders for other cells which are not part of report output ,while exporting to excel in Power BI Report Builder.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What i am getting now:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;img /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My Expectation:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;img /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Other cells in excel export default boarders shoud populate.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Based on my test, what you want is not supported in Power BI Report Builder currently. Maybe you can try to export to CSV file. It will show the default borders.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
