SSO via SAML for DirectQuery with SAP Hana NOT WORKING

Hello!

Is there anyone else experiencing issues with SSO via SAML for DirectQuery? We use SAP Hana and we have been out of service for 200 users now for 6 full days. We have not had much luck getting the attention of Microsoft Support. We are receiving the SAML assertion certificate error but we have ran through the steps in documentation probably 10 times with no changes. We have also been running Power BI with this method for going on 3.5 years so we are unsure what could have happened at this point.

EDIT: We finally got a call with the product team on Friday. Turns out the thumbprint from the certificate that is out in the gateway config file is case sensitive. We actually followed the steps in documentation to a T by copying the thumbprint from the powershell script but this is technically wrong.

Thanks for reaching out. Typically I would agree but we struggled getting any real traction. Friday we got on a call with the product team and actually discovered the issue after 4 hours.

could you please share the issue and the solution with this forum? We are struggling with SAML authentication with Azure AD also.
