    <description>&lt;P&gt;No I don't believe there is any way to customize the error messages. But Edm.String is not an variable it's a data type. So the error message is already quite generic, it's just saying that the string 'name' that was passed in was not recognised.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If this is important for you then you would need to raise a support ticket with Microsoft to see if they would consider changing this.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
