Hi

Does Power BI still not support separate prompt pages?

Does Power BI support filtering before the user looks at the data? We have prompt pages that use filtering to make sure users only see their data in the tables. Does Power BI have this, or would we need to create separate tables for each user?

Thanks.

I depends on what you mean by "prompt pages". You can configure the first page of your report with a set of common slicers that are synched to your other pages so the users set a filter at the start and then that flows through to all the other pages.

Or if this is a security requirement you can use RLS https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/admin/service-admin-rls to give different users a different filtered view of the data

With this setting, if you just add users to the RLS role, users would only see their data.
