Integrating Tidal Software with Power BI.

Hi Everyone,

We'd like to integrate Tidal Software (tidalsoftware.com) with Power BI. So eventually we want to be able to schedule Power BI Dashboards from Tidal.

We see that Tidal Software has adapters to integrate with SAP BusinessObjects and other tools, but not with Power BI.

We'd really appreciate if someone can shed light on this, or have prior experience and/or documentation on integrating tidal software with power BI.

You posted this question in Report Server. Is that your environment, or are you running Power BI service? For the latter you can connect to XMLA endpoints and to the Power BI REST API via standard web calls.

Please note that "schedule Power BI Dashboards" is not a thing. What are you trying to schedule - dataset refreshes, report exports, something else?

Apologies, for delayed response .

Yes you're right, We are doing this on PowerBI report server not in Powerbi Service.

Just so you know, the issue we’re facing is, from the Tidal Server, we’re not able to hit Report server URL, but we’re getting response successfully from the browser.

Below is the URL we are trying to hit from TIDAL. ( Insead of Localhost in URL we are providig Actual Server name)

http://localhost/Reports_SSRS/api/v2.0/Reports

This is the Error from Tidal server :-

“HTTP/1.1 401 Unauthorized

Content-Length: 0Server: Microsoft-HTTPAPI/2.0WWW-Authenticate: NTLM”

Note: In TIDAL we have set up to use Basic HTTP authentication to hit PowerbI Report server

but powerbi report server has NTLM settings.

We'd really appreciate if someone can assist me on how do we resolve this error.
