topic Power BI Report Data Source at Single Place While Moving to Different Environments. in Report Server

While developing the Power BI Report, data source (DB Server Name and DB Name) is specified. But while moving to other environments need to open each and every report and change the data source like DEV, STG, UAT etc. Would like to see if there is any option by which data source is configured at one place and all reports will get data source from that location. Basically, have to change data source at single place while moving to different environments.

For Power BI Reports there nothing as shared datasource placed in single location (like in paginated reports). But there is another option to fill your case. You can use simple API to manage connection. See Change data source connection strings with PowerShell - Power BI | Microsoft Docs
