Notification email in case of subscription failure

Hi,

We have SSRS reports that are scheduled to us on daily basis. We noticed that from time to time, the subscriptions fail to run and we have to re-run the subscriptions manually.

Is there a way to get a notification email such that when a subscription fails to run, users will receive an email on the same? I only want email for the failed subscriptions and not the full log.

Please help.

Scheduled subscriptions are stored under SQL Server Agent Jobs, Using a GUID as name.

Under job Properties->Notifications ther is an option to send email when the job fails. This may help you.

You have to configure SQL server to send email before using this option.
