Problems embedding a Report into Application

We have developed a report using Microsoft Power BI Desktop (optimized for Report Server) Version: 2.76.5678.1521 64-bit (January, 2020).

This report is hosted on Microsoft Power BI Report Server Version 15.0.1102.759 (January 2020).

We are attempting to embed this report in an MVC application writtedn in C# in Visual Studio 2017. We are using the following script:

When we run the report in the application we get this message displayed:

X "This content cannot be displayed in a frame"

"To help protect the security of information you enter into this website, the publisher of this content does not allow it to be displayed in a frame"

Any help on identifying what is wrong and solution would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Did you try embedding in Sharepoint site to see if you are

This is very simple,

From last 2 weeks, there is no response/reply from Microsoft employees. So, try to find other alternatives meanwhile. just a suggestion.

We do not have Sharepoint to test it on. I found a similar issue here:

Can this be a problem with the Power BI Report Server January 2020 update? Can I get verification? We have it in DEV and UAT and I am reluctant to migrate it to production with this issue. Here is the message we are getting:

I went into the Advanced Properties of Power BI Report Server and set the "CustomHeadings" to:

Now instead of the "This content cannot be displayed in a frame" message I get a blank screen. Any suggestions or advice on how to get this to work?

Will anyone be able to confirm if there is an issue with the Power BI Desktop (January 2020) version and if there is a workaround to our problem? We have upgraded our development and acceptance environments to Power BI Report Server (January 2020) and would like this resolved before upgrading production.

Are you using Chrome browser ?
Try with other browser.
We are using Sept 2019 RS and embed is only working in IE but not Chrome. Chrome embed is completely blank and for IE we are are getting warning message below and when we click on that report is loading.
In our case report is embedded in Sharepoint.

We tried it in Chrome and Firefox and it works in these browsers. In IE we get a blank page and in Edge we get the "Can't Reach This Page Error".

Is it possible that this can be an issue with IE due to ES6 support?

update: our issue got resolved after installing secuirty certificate to PBIRS Server (https).

but still not working in IE (old browser), tested in Chrome and Edge and both working fine.

It is still not working in IE and Edge. Do you know how installing the security certificate resolved the issue? We may have to look at doing that on our end.

@Lorenz33 not sure, how these two are conencted but once we installed secuirty certificate to the report server,this issue got resolved.

is your power bi portal is http:// or https:// ?

Thanks Amkumar5. I am arranging for the security certificate to be installed on the Power BI Report Server. I will let you know if this solves the issue.
