Every child folder get the security from his parent folder. You can change the security of a child folder and use that security for the child-child-folder. Hope that is not to confusing 😄

Best,

Kathrin

If this post has helped you, please give it a thumbs up!
Did I answer your question?

Is there a way to change default behavior of the report server where a child folder inherite it's parent folder security? I'd like the child folder to be create with the creator as content manager. The goal here is to avoid giving a broader access than expected if the user forget to remove inherited groups from the parent folder.
