    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We have a powerbi file that we uploaded/published to local server.&amp;nbsp; It works on the cloud but not on the local server.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It has to do with Authentication to Analysis services connection type and string.&amp;nbsp; Anyone else face this? whats the string they used to connect to PowerBI.com Cloud and access the data local server report?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Connection Type:&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Data Source=pbiazure://api.powerbi.com; .....&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Fails to connect Error:&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN class="ng-binding"&gt;Value cannot be null.       <description>&lt;P&gt;If you check the list of supported data sources for the on-prem report server&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/report-server/data-sources" target="_blank"&gt;https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/report-server/data-sources&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You will see that the Power BI Service is not a supported data source.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If your data is hosted on PowerBI.com you should publish any reports using that data there also.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
