Hi

I have trouble upgrading our Power BI Report server from Sept 2019 to Jan 2020.

The error message at the end of the install process is:

"The Temp folder is on a drive that is full or is inaccessible. Free up space on the drive or verify that you have write permission on the Temp folder"

When I analyze the logs it looks like it's about this folder: C:\Users\<MyUsername>\AppData\Local\Temp\

Has anyone else had this issue before ? Or know how to solve it ?

Thank you all in advance for your help

Ali

Thank you KBO for your response. But all the requirements are met.

After doing some digging, we found out the C:\Windows\Installer folder has been deleted (accidentally) and that what caused the problem. We created it manually and now the Power BI Upgrade works.

Kindly,

Ali
