Hello,

I use the On Premises Gateway for our Cloud PowerBI. This function works great. I need to access a similar hosted SQL database through Cloud MSO365 SharePoint. Has anyone else done this with the Data Gateway? If not, has anyone used the Azure Hybrid Connection Manager instead for 3rd party BI tool access?

From your description, it seems you want to get data from SQL database in SharePoint online, right?

This should be a issue related to SharePoint online side. You can post a thread here.
