Last week I was publishing a PowerBI report to the web with 4 pages, and the 4 pages were appearing as onglet (tabs) at the bottom of my report, enabling end users to see and select indivual pages directly. Since Monday (April 25 2016), it seems something has changed: the 4 onglets have disappeared and replaced by "left / right" arrows, to navigate sequentially from one page to another. What changed over the weekend ? Did Microsoft PowerBI team made a change to the "page behavior" ? Or is there a setting somewhere ?

I just realize what the PowerBI development team did over the weekend: “tabs” are not visible, but if I click on the page number between the left and right arrows, a pop up appears showing the various pages of my report and I can select a specific page. It could be a good and valid workaround… I preferred the “tabs” at the bottom of the report, but at least end user can navigate to a specific page without having to scroll each page one by one.

Yes, we made a change to make the page navigation nicer for embedded reports. We got feedback that the page tabs don't look right when they're embedded in iFrames in blogs or websites. The pages are still available if you click on the '1 of N' option. We're working on some additional improvements to make the page navigation better as well - you'll be able to set the page that loads when the iframe loads (instead of whatever was saved in the report) and you'll be able to programmatically set the page. This means you'll eventually be able to create your own page navigation buttons. Lastly, we're looking at a better overall design for page navigation when embedded in publish to web - the tabs at the bottom were seen by many as out of place. Suggestions are welcome - we're thinking to put the page navigation UI at the top of the report or on the sides. Any ideas you have for how the page nav should work would be appreciated.

-Lukasz
