Icons in table header

Hi,

I have a request from my client to show an icon or image on the column header for a Table. I don't see any option available in the properties.

Appreciate any advice to do this.

Hi @manojk_pbi,

At the moment, Power BI tables don’t support adding icons or images directly into the column headers — headers only allow text formatting.

Workarounds:

You can place icons/images inside the cell values using conditional formatting (e.g. based on measures).
If you really need decorated headers, a common trick is to overlay images or shapes above the table visual and align them with the headers (static, not dynamic).
For more flexibility, consider the Matrix visual with conditional formatting on values, or a custom visual from AppSource that supports richer headers

if you find suitable emoji, you can use it as Icon.
https://emojipedia.org/ use this link to find suitable emojis.

You then paste it as normal text, like this: 🛀 💅
