Direct Query: Slow Performance

Hallo, i need help optimiszing my direct query report and the datasource.

I have two Tables, one Facttable with lot of collumns but only 15k rows and i have table acces for row level security.

Facttable is diret query mode, access table is import. (many to many relationship)

My report visuals load up to one minute to show data. My Azure Database has very low tier (Standard S0: 10 DTUs) anyway query should be faster right? (i have no experience with database and performance).

I have 3 slicer visuals fro column plant, workstation and date. And two Table Visuals with additional collumns and 4 meassures.

Because i have no databse expierience i dont know how to best set up indexes for better performance.

Right now i set up indexes for the 3 collumns used in slicer (all Non-unique, non clustered).

Can you give me some tips?

Use Performance Analyzer to capture the direct query that is produced by your visual. Examine that query and run it directly on your Azure database. Examine the query execution plan and follow the suggestions on which index would be suitable for that query.
