topic How to get running query from lakehouse Endpoint and Kill it in Developer

I am setting up a lakehouse. I found that during synchronization from Lakehouse to Endpoint, there are unfinished endpoint queries. If certain deletion commands are executed in the Lakehouse at this time, these queries may get stuck for hours. During this period, all synchronizations from lakehouse to endpoint will fail.

So I am looking for APIs to find and kill all queries running on the endpoint.

Thank you

Hi @vapid128 ,

According to your statement, I think you tried to delete data from Lakehouse when it is queried from SQL Endpoint.
Normally we wait for the previous process to complete before making changes to the data source. You are making changes to the data source in the middle of the last process duration, an action that is not recommended.

This operation will cause conflict and error, like stuck or query failure. It is better to do operation after query successful.

Best Regards,
Rico Zhou
