I found linkedin data connector but it's for sales accounts

Hello @anmolmalviya05 , instead of directly connecting to LinkedIn, a simple approach is to download your LinkedIn data and analyze it in Power BI by following the steps outlined below:

From within LinkedIn Settings, drill down to where you find Export your data, choose "Download larger data archive..", and download the archive file which will be a zip file. Unpack the zip file to your source location, where there will be several files that you can use to build your Report. This is a good starting point, and modeling activity.

Justinal Raphael-Ojo walks through this very activty in her 2023 youtube video LinkedIn Profile Analytics Dashboard in Power BI . Other people in the Community Forums have also shared similar examples, and her's is a good step by step.

I want to create a dynamic report in such a way that we can see recent data, exporting data will be manual and static. is there any way we can make this process automate

Consider using Power Automate for workflow and automation. The main idea is to follow these steps: download an updated archive, unpack it to a specific folder, update the folder contents, and then use that folder and its contents as your current Report Source.

Hi @anmolmalviya05 You need to pull the data from the Linkedin organic API but there is not native/direct integration for Power BI. As a workaround, maybe you can try to test your connection with a 3rd party connector. I currently use windsor.ai 's Linkedin connectors and I haven't had any problem with my data. In case you wonder, to make the connection first search for the Linkedin Organic connector in the data sources list:

After that, just grant access to your Linkedin account using your credentials, then on preview and destination page you will see a preview of your Linkedin fields:

There just select the fields you need. Finally, just select PBI as your data destination and finally just copy and paste the url on PBI --> Get Data --> Web --> Paste the url.

Free if you connect only 1 Linkedin account and pull maximum 30 days of data. You can request the last 30 days of data and once your Power BI report refreshes you will have updated data but older than 30 days data will not remain in your model. If you want to connect more than 1 Linkedin account or pull more data then they ask you to upgrade

@anmolmalviya05 , the key reason for suggesting a manual setup using the Archive and then automating via Power Automate was that I suspected that you are already paying for the 365 licenses and have at least a Pro license, so your monthly spend to cover this activity going forward would be quite low. Windsor will end up as perhaps an additional cost to gain access to LN which otherwise would be free. Best of luck; the suggestion and the step-by-step and report template, however you approach this, will (and probably already has) gotten you started on a path going forward. Best of luck!
