topic Limiting SQL data loaded into powerquery in Developer

I have an issue where I am trying to limit the ammount of data loaded into power BI.

Our department is running a model which generates data points on forward values for a number of different contracts every day, and for up to 300 months ahead. The model generates about 40.000-60.000 rows of data every day.

We capture one moment of these data points every day, which provide us with historical data, this gives a dimGenerationdate variable.

When we analyze this historical data, we can filter the SQL “cube” data in pivot tables to limit the data to loading/filtering fthrough dimGenerationdate.

Is there a way to do this in powerquery or powerbi without having to load the entire history of generated data?
