I have a custom visual works fine in my Power BI desktop but could not shown after publish even though I enable the custom visual.

It was "Tadpole Spark Grid Plus" custom visuals I used. I saw the youtube video it could posted successfully to reports with data. But mine is failed with blank data (just a heading). Not sure any missing steps from me? thx.

Do you mean it will not work on the dashboard or in the report. At this time, custom visuals do not work with dashboards. It should, however, show in the report.

If you can clarify, perhaps I can help you troubleshoot it. Mine work now that I have spent some time learning the dos and don'ts of tadpole sparklines. They can be quite persnickity.

What I meant is when I build the report, the custom visual (Tadpole Spark Grid Plus) which I downloaded from the gallery worked fine at the Power BI Desktop. However, after I published, the visual is blank even though I enabled the custom visual. I tried to view it in IE, Chrome and Firefox but never shown up. Is that due to any security block from my company?

You may need to import the visual into PowerBI.com as well. I started the process in reverse and it works in both for me. Try importing the visual into the online version of the report and then clicking enable one more time. Import works the same way online as on the desktop, click the elipse. Once I put it in one, it carried across so this idea wouldn't be too time consuming. Hope it works.

Seems it doesn't work for me. I tried building a new report directly from powerbi.com with new import of that visual, too. But the figures just don't show up. 😞

I really wish I could get this work. Any other possibility that I could make to get this work? Any settings I need to make on my explorer or so? Thx.

Have you considered running it on a different system? Mine works well with Mozilla and my friend runs it on Chrome. In fact, I have noticed in most of the webinars that the presenters use Chrome as well.

Yes, i did try on different system, i.e. IE, edge, chrome and firefox as well. Not sure if the one I downloaded from website is a full package? Thx.

Hello

I have same problem with Tadpole spark grid plus with all browsers.

In Power BI Desktop works fine but not show anything in Power BI Online.

It's works 3-4 days ago

I'm having the same issue. Worked yesterday, and still works today in PowerBI Desktop, but not when published online to PowerBI. DOesnt work in any browser.

Mine stopped working this afternoon. It has worked since day one but today I just have a blank visual. I toggled it on and off to no avail. Going to try to redownload.

EDIT: I redownloaded the visual from the gallery then re uploaded it to BI.com and now it works. After the upload I toggled the visual to a different visual and back to the tadpole. Took less than a minute total to fix for several reports. I did have to re add my rows on one particular report but that didn't take long.

Must be a bug.
