topic API not connecting via JSON in Developer

Hey everyone,

Really hope someone can help with my issue. I am trying to connect API from www.getmyinvoices.com, they offer OpenAPI specification file in json format(189KB) which I downloaded. When adding this as a source on PBI, whole of PBI crashes within 5sec - I have tried this about 10 times and same thing every time.

Q1 - Any ideas why json file makes PBI crash?

Q2 - Do json files usually have to be updated/edited before connecting to PBI? In json there are several places for API key which I did provide. I tried uploading both unedited and edited json files - same end result(PBI crashes)

I haven't got much experience with API's, so really hoping there's an easy fix.

Thank you,

Evi

The specification file usually just documents the available calls. It is not required to ingest this file.

Figure out which API calls you want to make, then make these calls via Web.Contents and then consume the received JSON from these calls.
