Dear community,

I want to connect Power BI to our company LinkedIn Page (Campaign and community manager). We have created an app in the LinkedIn developers portal. But if I try to make connection in Power Query I can't succesfully get through the 3-legged OAuth Flow (LinkedIn 3-Legged OAuth Flow - LinkedIn | Microsoft Learn). I think this has something to do with the login pop up you get when you request an authorization code. Is there a way you can handle this in Power Query?

I also tried to gain access by first request a authorization token for the application in the LinkedIn developer portal and use this token in Power Query, but then I also get an access denied error. So now I'm out of ideas. We would like to prevent using third party connectors, but at this point I don't know if that is possible?

If anyone has some experience with connecting LinkedIn app data with Power BI, I'm really curious to your solution. We also want to connect our Instagram and X account, I expect there similar challenges, so tips and trick for those canals are alse very welcome.

Kind regards,
Mies
