Hi,

I'm currently working on a report where I need to be able to clearly differentiate "manual actions" from "scheduled actions". More specifically I need to Know how the following actions work:

- DataQuery

- ASModelStream

- DataRefresh

- SaveToCatalog

- ConceptualSchema

And if there is any way to link each action with "manual" os "scheduled"... It's driving me crazy !! 🙃

Thanks in advance.

Certainly, I can provide some general insights into the actions you've mentioned and how they might be associated with "manual" or "scheduled" activities:

DataQuery:

Manual: Typically initiated by a user to retrieve specific data or run a query manually.

Scheduled: Can be part of an automated process, such as scheduled data extraction or regular database queries.

ASModelStream:

Manual: Often related to working with Azure Analysis Services (AS) models. Manually updating or streaming model changes.

Scheduled: May be part of a scheduled process to update or synchronize models automatically.

DataRefresh:

Manual: A user-initiated action to refresh data, often used in reporting tools or data visualization platforms.

Scheduled: Part of an automated schedule to refresh data at regular intervals.

SaveToCatalog:

Manual: Typically involves saving or cataloging specific items manually, such as reports or data artifacts.

Scheduled: May be part of an automated process to save and catalog items regularly.

ConceptualSchema:

Manual: Involves defining or modifying a conceptual schema manually.

Scheduled: If conceptual schema changes are part of a regular process, they might be scheduled for automatic application.

Linking Actions with "Manual" or "Scheduled":

Logs and Auditing: Check logs or auditing features in the tools or systems you're using. Manual actions might be associated with user logins or specific user IDs.

Schedulers: Scheduled actions are often associated with scheduling tools or cron jobs. Look for patterns in the timing and frequency of these actions.

User Interaction: Actions initiated by user interfaces are likely manual, while those triggered without direct user interaction may be scheduled.

Specific Tools or Platforms:

The nature of these actions can vary depending on the specific tools or platforms you're using. Check the documentation for the tools or platforms to get detailed insights into how these actions are handled.

To provide more specific information, I would need details about the context in which these actions are taking place, such as the tools, platforms, or systems you are using. If these actions are part of a specific software application or service, consulting the documentation for that tool would be the most accurate way to understand how each action is intended to work and whether it's associated with manual or scheduled activities.
