I am displaying resource data on gantt chart visual and there is a requirement to control the timeline from button. (Monthly, Weekly or daily)

I saw Date Type option under Format Visual which controls the timeline of the gantt chart. Is there any way to control this property through button on power bi report?

So that users can select through button how they want to visualize the data.(monthly, weekly or daily)

Timeline on report

Thanks for reaching out to us with your problem. Base on your description, it seems that you are creating a gantt visual. And you want to get a method to display the data with different timeline. You can refer the following links to get it by creating bookmark and button.

1. Create three gantt visual with different timeline

2. Create bookmark and button to set the above gantt visuals to display or hide in suitable situation

How to show & hide visuals using Power BI Bookmarks & a Button. - overbeeps

How to toggle visuals on and off in Power BI Reports

Best Regards
