&lt;P&gt;As far as I know, when you publish or republish a dataset which has the same name as the one is existing on Power BI Service.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The new dataset will replace the old one and it will keep the dataset ID. I think the url will be the same as the original one.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;So if you only want to publish a new version, you can replace the dataset. If you want to keep the old one, please rename the report name and publish it to Power BI Service.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Team,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I Initially Develped a PowerBI Dashboard and published using MY ID and Given Access to customers . Now i need to Publish the Same dataset with Diffrent ID, and it should not change the URL.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Is there a way to Achieve the above requirement . and it is Highly Visible dataset.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please let me know on this.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Shinooj M&lt;/P&gt;</description>
