PBI - API delete (some) rows

Hello hello community,

given a push dataset in PBI, it is possible to delete all the rows via delete request to the REST API: Push Datasets - Datasets DeleteRows - REST API (Power BI Power BI REST APIs) | Microsoft Learn

It is possible to delete just a subset of rows? For instance, delete the lasts or the firsts n rows?

The API documentation does not mention this possibility, but I wonder if there is a workaround to this problem.

Furthermore, does anyone know if PBI is working on a new version of their REST API, which is still v1.0?

Has never been possible and Microsoft have stated they have no plans to support that. All or nothing.
