With Dynamic M Query Parameters, model authors can let report viewers use filters or slicers to set the value(s) for an M Query Parameter, which can be especially useful for query performance optimizations.

Hello,

I would like to start a query (fetch data from an API) by click on a visual (e.g. when I choose a certain value in a slicer) and append only the requested data to my existing dataset.

The reason is that I would like to load only data that is needed to my report, since I have to handle with Big Data.

Has anyone every tried this before?

Thanks in advance and best regards
