Hi @Anonymous I have tried everything. Loading the data in a new file. I've tried using the SQL Server connector with the connection string. I have also created a new datamart and tired loading the data again. Nothing seems to work. The most recent attempt with the new datamart gives me this error. Can you help me connect Microsoft support directly? I think this is an issue with the new Datamart feature.

Hi,

I recently created a Datamart and want to take an existing report which is connected to an on-prem SQL Server via a gateway and swap the source to the Datamart's underlying SQL Server.

I change the source of all my queries but I get either inconsistant loads or they timeout. It's hard to determine the failure mode because it changes.

I tried loading one table in a blank file and it works but when I try to load multiple it fails.

I have three table with between 2 to 5 million rows and am wondering if the size has something to do with it. Maybe I need a composit model. Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

According to the error message display in your screenshot, it seems there is syntax error in the measure [Invoince Count] which involves the table [Invoice]. In order to make troubleshooting and give you a suitable solution, could you please provide the formula and the logic of the measure [Invoince Count]? Thank you.

Hi @Anonymous

the measure is as follows:

Invoice Count = COUNT( Invoice[InvoiceKey] )

...btw I corrected the spelling error 🙂

Hi @nbs33 ，

Thanks for your reply. But as checked the screenshot you provided in your last reply, but that expression (Invoince Count=countrows(Invoice) ) in the screenshot is different with this one: Invoice Count = COUNT( Invoice[InvoiceKey] ) ...

Whether the problem still persist after you correct the spelling of expression? If yes, could you please try to refresh again and check if it is working or not? Or please try to create new Datamart using the same data source and configuration, then check if all can work well....

Best Regards

Hi @Anonymous the issue still persisted after fixing the measure. I opened a blank pbix file and connected to the datamart but got the following error.

I will try making a new datamart.
