Hello, I am new to Power Query.

I have been tasked for making a custom connector for my organization. I would like to have users hit our server by going to Power BI Desktop -> Get Data -> Web and enter our url to be able to use our power query connector. I would also like to try to connect to it locally this way as well.

Hi @turtlebyte ,

It doesn't seem very feasible. The power query editor can only be executed by the mashup engine of power bi. It is feasible if you can run mashup engine separately on your server and by accepting requests from the client and returning data to the client.

As far as I know, there is no separate power query editor to run.

Best Regards
