Workspace security

IS there a way to lock down security on a workspace and not allow anyone besides one user to have access to it? Basically looking for a solution where a workspace is only accessible to one super user and none of the other admins are able to download the pbix files or access the info in it. Is that possible?

Hi,

You need to play around only with the available 4 roles. if you dont want to allow users to download then assign them viewer access.

If you want users to be able to download pbix files successfully, first of all you need to make sure that the "Download reports" feature is enabled in the Admin portal.

In addition, there are some limitations that are not hit below.

You mentioned that the workspace may have multiple admins, but you only want one admin (super user) to be able to download pbix files, so maybe you can add that super user to a special group and set "Download reports" feature to only allow that group to download reports. The problem with this is that only this group has permission to download pbix files from all workspaces...
