Hi Team,

I'm using MS Access DB file as my data source which is located in sharepoint. Getting the data and building the report is all going smooth. Also, I'm able to refresh the file in Power BI Desktop file without any issues.

Whereas, while scheduling the report in Web I'm getting the below error.

Please help to guide me to get rid of this error.

HI @Anonymous,

Can you please share some more detail about these? (e.g. type of data connector, encryption enabled on your database file...) They will help us clarify your scenario and test to troubleshoot.

In addition, have you installed the corresponding data driver on your device? As the document said, the Access database requirement gateway to handle refresh.

Hi,

As per my understanding to your question the data connector used is Access DB file from the Sharepoint. I've called the file through Get Data>Web> and the Access DB file path in the sharepoint. I imported data and built the report successfully.

I'm only facing the issue when i'm trying to schedule the refresh in Power Bi service(Web), where I'm able to refresh in the desktop copy.

I've also installed the Microsoft Accessdatabase Enginex64 (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=54920) post getting the error, but I could still see the same error even after installation.

Kindly help to guide ASAP if i need to configure aything post installation or any alternative to make the Access DB based power Bi file get scheduled in the service.

Error :

Processing error:

Microsoft Access: The 'Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0' provider is not registered on the local machine.
