Hi,

I will be sharing data with 1000+ employees via Power BI. The data will be stored in SQL Server. Users are already assigned to AD Groups based on their roles. These roles will allign with the data they need to see in Power BI. Can I use these AD group memberships to control their secuirty access to the appropriate dashboards?

Hi @Anonymous ,

On Power BI Service, you can add security group as member of a role. See: Row-level security (RLS) with Power BI

In this scenario, you can create security groups on O365 admin center: Create, edit, or delete a security group in the Office 365 admin center.

Best Regards,
Liang
If this post helps, then please consider Accept it as the solution to help the other members find it more quickly.
