Hi, i apologize if i am posting to the wrong area. This is my first post.

I need some advice on PowerBI Report Builder "Custom Rendering Extensions" or SSRS as a backup.
1) How difficult it is to develop a Custom PDF Rendering extension which populates PDF Custom properties with a data field.
example >> Data Field [Client_Email] populated PDF Custom property.

2) Do we need a specialized skill to develop (A specialist C# developer or is there a company that provides these Off the shelf)

Any advice would be most appreciated.

Rendering Extensions are modified in RSReportServer.config file.

Before modifying the rsreportserver.config file create a backup copy

Thank you for your reply.

The references are specific to how to amend the Rendering engine format. The issue i have is to grab data set data and use this in the PDF Metadata >>

Requirement >> Data Field [Client_Email] populated PDF Custom property.

After some internet searches, i have not found any details on how i can accomplish this as a developer.

The question is >>

1) Is this possible and if so, what type of developer would i need >?

Thanks in advance, i know this may be pushing the limits of Rendering extensions or i am just missing the something fundamental.
