Hi,

We are looking into creating dataset using and web app and create power bi file for it. we have achieved creating dataset in web app but we couldnt create a power bi file using web app. please tell us the ways to create power bi file that would contain my data set. we are working for user to download this files from web application.

So far, you can only add rows through REST API for the dataset also created via REST API. You can't upload an pbix for the aforementioned dataset.

So follow the normal steps.

create a report in Power BI desktop.
publish.
