Get Activity Events API does not return correct Refresh Data for tabular datasets

Hi All,

I want to collect data regarding all the refreshes that occurs on datasets within our PowerBI Workspaces. We are currently using the "Admin - Get Activity Events" API to be able to capture the activities that occur and then filtering those activities for the activity "RefreshDataset".

However when I compare the information against by the PowerBI Workspace records of refresh (dataset -> settings - > refresh dataset), I find that none of the refresh datetimes present on the refresh history page match any of the refreshes captured by the get activity events api.

I am not certain which of the following is the case:

The Activity Events API activity does not represent refreshes to dataset but represents some other attribute
The Activity Events API 'refresh dataset' activity was intended to capture refreshes to datasets but this data is broken

Are there any workarounds or reasonings behind the non-sync between the api and the refresh history information? I need it for an audit report.
