Hiya,

I have Power BI reports and datasets pulling data from our on prem MS Access database.

I would like to have an API setup to pull data from the Power BI reports and datasets so that my clients won't have to consume our data via spreadsheet attachments in email. Is this even possible? Sorry if this has been answered on another thread and if so, please let me have the URL.

Thanks
Nos

Thanks very much!

I will try to implement one for read reports but this would be a daunting task no doubt.

If you want something a little more daunting you can also use the XMLA end point interface to run your DAX queries.

Hopefully your MS Access database is not used for anything business critical?

Actually, it is the main business database and it holds the most critical databases. I will PM you if you don't mind?

You better have frequent backups. I have seen grownups cry when they were writing beyond the 2GB size limit and the database went poof!
