topic Worth learning Python or R? in Developer

Hi

I am relatively new to Data Analysis and Power BI.

My organisation only uses Power BI and Excel for any data analysis. This will not change in the near future.

I am willing to put in the effort to learn Python, R or both over time.

My question; Is it really worth my effort and time?

Guys in a Cube posted a video "Intro To Python In Power BI ". Some of the responses within the comments relate to Python and R being really slow and not having two way interaction with any standard visuals.

Below is a typical response in the comments...

"Python visuals are very slow once the report is published, to slow to be actually used in a report."

Thanks in advance

Hi @Anonymous ，

First of all, you have to figure out the features, application scenarios and advantages of R and Phython. For example, R and phython are powerful in data transforming, and we can create custom visuals by using R and Phython. You can read the content in the following links to learn more about R and Phython. After reading it, decide whether it is necessary and worth your time to learn...
