Total and Subtotal API 2.6 for Matrix dataView Mapping

Hi,

I tried to implement Total and Subtotal API 2.6 in my visual with MATRIX dataview mapping but couldn’t get it to work.

I followed the same steps as in custom visual by Microsoft (Powerbi-Visuals-SampleMatrix) but to no avail

In the DataView, Values only appear at the base child level (picture shown below)

Could you help me please? I have uploaded the custom visual’s folder in google drive. Link given below

Downgrading to pbiviz 2.5 as advised here doesn't work either

Could you help? I saw your similar post in 2019. Were you able to resolve the issue with subtotals

Hi @Zubair_Muhammad - apologies for the delay in responding, as I've just returned from some time away and saw that you summoned me in the OP. Unfortunately I'm not familiar with the mapping or APIs, so don't have anything useful I can offer on this one, sorry.

If you suspect it's bugging-out, then I think it should ideally be raised as an issue so the team are aware/can provide an official answer on what's up with it.

@dm-p No problem Daniel. Your posts in the Community have helped me thousands of times already 🙂

Zebra BI have implemented this, so I think its definitely possible. I have sent an email to pbicvsupport@microsoft.com and waiting for their reply.

There is already an issue created for this matter but no activity on it for a long time
