Can we add custom tooltip to charticulator visual

Hi all,

Need ur help.

Not sure if this is possible.

I have created a custom visual using Charticulator. Enabled tooltip and it is working fine when importing this visual to Power BI.

Can we add custom tooltip (report page as tooltip) to the custom visual created in Charticulator?

Hi @Anonymous,

Report page tooltips should work fine, with some caveats. Here's an example I've just tried:

I've reviewed the source code and can confirm that it will only work for columns, and the desired column has to be added to the Tooltips data role to trigger the tooltip. It's not enough to just have the column in one of the other data roles, like for a hand-coded visual.
