`pbiviz start` stuck at "compiled successfully"

Hello

I'm following the tutorial, creating a new visual (mine is called just "car"), and starting it. And I'm getting a different output yielded by the command:

it doesn't go beyond `Compiled successfully`, doesn't say `Server listening in port 8080`, and the viz is not reachable from the report in PowerBI.com

Any help would be appreciated 🙏

The pbiviz start command is not stuck at "compiled successfully", it is the status that it should reach when you want to be able to use the visual in your development-visual.

The fact that your developer visual is not able to connect to the server can be caused by several things. The most possible cause is the fact that the certificate on your localhost is not valid. Can you try to open the follollwing url in another tab of your browser: https://localhost:8080/webpack-dev-server/

When this page opens without problems the server should be reachable. If you get a message according to the certificate you can tell the browser that this url is safe and then it wil open the page. Try refreshing your developement-visual again in your report and see if it does connect now.
