If you can convert the data to JSON then you can push that into a hybrid streaming dataset (via Power Automate) and build visuals from that which you can then pin to a dashboard as live tiles.

Why Excel? Who's feeding the excel spreadsheet?

If you really must, load the Excel workbook into your Power BI workspace, and then create visuals and pin them to dashboards.

Changes in the Excel file will (supposedly) appear in the dashboard within an hour. Plus you can schedule the refresh of the Excel sources in the Power BI service.

Normally when you talk about feeding data into Power BI you mean streaming/hybrid datasets. Those can be fed via REST API or Power Automate.

Lately XMLA Write has been the new buzzword. That allows you to stuff data into existing regular datasets. Might not apply to your license.

the data is coming from a tool that outputs it in comma separated values. we would like to take that and automatically load that into powerbi to generate a live dashboard. can we use UI flow for this? if not a daily report manually done would be fine.
