<title>topic Rest API access token SSO in Developer</title>
    <link>https://community.fabric.microsoft.com/t5/Developer/Rest-API-access-token-SSO/m-p/1008863#M22968</link>
<description>I use a SSO from a 3rd party to log into PBI desktop/reporting services. (When I log in I’m propped to that site, input credentials, and then am redirected to PBI).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I want to use the rest API so I can use python to refresh datasets but I’m unable to authenticate. Is there a special process to obtain an access token when using a 3rd party identity management SSO service?</description>
