This technique works with Power BI reports as well as other report types.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;U&gt;&lt;EM&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Therefore NO NEED THE CLIENT_ID&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/U&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Client ID for using Report Server API</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;We are trying to embed these reports within our app. We had previously been using the power bi service API but we have recently starting moving over to on prem report server. I know previously we had to register the app on azure to get the client ID... Is it the same for the on prem report server?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
