Power BI MFA enforcement - App password

We use a user to access power bi service to embed it into a web app.

App password does not work with Power Bi
In order to enforce MFA (like Microsoft wants) , how should we deal with this?

Hi @Anonymous,

If you are using the current user as a 'master account' you should migrate to using a service principals for your master connection: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/developer/embed-service-principal.

Problem is that you need to migrate to the new workspace experience (V2) as service principals are not able to connect to the old workspaces.
