Color and shapes legend

Hi all,

I want to add a legend to my custom chart. It is a map where you can represent 4 dimensions ( axis X, axis Y, color and shape).

So I create a "classic" legend for my colors :

But what I truly want it's this:

My first question is : how can I change the circle to box or line or triangle ? I can't find where is the parameter to change... I try to change the icon in my renderLegend function :

It didn't change anything...

How can I do this ? Do anyone has done something similar ? Or has any tips on how to do it ?

So if I want my legend to show me the right shapes, I have to wait the resolution of this issue ? Or a workaround is possible ?

There's no workaround because this feature has not been implemented yet.

We'll update once it's implemented and published.

Dear Visual experts,

am still waiting for the customized version added for visuals as it is available in arcGIS, we should have flexibility of all shapes for selection, and also the round circle leged should have a provision of enlargement or increasing the size individually to help the users (Consumers of information) figure out the graphics

Is there any update on this? Tableau can do this very easily. It is basic functionality.

Still looking for this feature in 2025. My tableau license exists for this one basic reason.
